Based on my testing, if the drive onto which you’re installing Mavericks doesn’t already have, a bootable installer drive made using createinstallmedia or DiskMaker X (which uses createinstallmedia under the hood) can create that partition during the 10.9-install process. (DiskMaker X also doesn’t work under Snow Leopard.) The Disk Utility method is very reliable, and it works under Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, and Mavericks.Note: There’s one significant difference between the three methods that you should be aware of. Mavericks dmg file download. You can determine whether or not your Mac has a Recovery HD partition using the instructions in.Whichever method you use, you need a Mac-formatted drive (a hard drive, solid-state drive SSD, thumb drive, or USB stick) that’s big enough to hold the installer and all its data—I recommend at least an 8GB flash drive, though anything larger than roughly 5.5GB should work. DiskMaker X is the next-easiest method, but I’ve experienced the occasional failure with it. A bootable Mavericks installer drive made using the Disk Utility procedure will not.

Dan Mintz is an American filmmaker, producer and founder of a global entertainment company, DMG Entertainment.[1] Mintz has also directed independent films such as Cookers (2001) and American Crime (2004).
Early Life and Education[edit]
Mintz was born in Staten Island, New York City. Mintz started his career as a Commercial Director shooting commercials for brands such as Volkswagen and Budweiser. His first feature film, Cookers, received awards including Best Film and Best Director at the 2002 Milan Film Festival.[2]
Career[edit]
In the 1990s Mintz founded DMG Entertainment.[1][3][4] The company started doing shoots for TV commercials in the early 1990s. By the early 2000s, DMG developed into a major marketing and advertising company in China, and it had offices in five cities.[5] When Mintz arrived in China, he was a '..freelance commercial director with no contacts, no advertising experience, and no Mandarin'. Initially, he flew between New York City and Beijing, but in 1993, he moved to China full time.[6] As few Chinese directors had his US experience, Mintz was able to win commercial shooting contracts for Budweiser, Unilever, Sony, Nabisco, Audi, and Kraft, with a big success being winning the Volkswagen brand campaign for 2004 in China.[7]

According to Variety, 'Mintz has been ..establishing high-level, long term relationships, or “Guanxi,” within China, long before the recent economic liberalization and current cultural services boom'.[8] Variety stated that Mintz's '..brash showmanship, combined with an ability to get things done is a combination that can go a long way in China – especially for someone like Mintz who settled into China for the long term and has mastered the Chinese language as well as he has the art of the deal.'[8]
As a Producer, Mintz has worked on films such as Iron Man 3, Looper, Point Break, and Bloodshot and partnered with motion picture studios including Marvel, Disney, Warner Bros., Paramount, and SONY/Columbia.[9][10][11][12][13][14]
